Nuclear Power Plant project of Fennovoima

Fennovoima, owned by german Eon and finnish companies, is planning to build fifth nuclear power plant in Finland. At the stage of placement research visual entirety was analyzed with the help of virtual model by placing different alternatives of the plans in different locations.

The plans made by architectural agency Virkkunen were modified to virtual model with RENDERLights software, in which the alternatives were analyzed in real-time. Also instant picture- and video captures were taken at the same time. For example news were showing animation captured straight from the virtual model within their reportage.
