Planning review 2009

City Planning Department of Helsinki introduces upcoming city development plans in its planning reviews. This time in introduction entirely new part of the city - Jätkäsaari, which is almost entirely rebuilt to substitute discontinued harbour activity.

Architect Pia Sjöroos: "We always receive direct customer feedback after annual planning reviews and this year the pictures of Jätkäsaari project were commented very positively. Inhabitants told that they are proud to live in a city which is designed to look like the one that is introduced in Jätkäsaari pictures. We have also received contacts concerning apartment reservations."

Project engineer Laura Schrey: "In addition to planning reviews we have used pictures made by Render also in Housing Markets 2009 fair, MIPIM 2009 real estate event and in an information brochure of Jätkäsaari. Reification of the plans and creation of positive conceptions carries out with much bigger success when using visualizations that portray the area properly. Good picture gives a great change for the caption to be read also!
